INGREDIENTS
- 12 - 15 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 tbsp lard
- 3 c. water
- 2 tbsp. yeast
- 3 eggs, beaten
DIRECTIONS
- Dissolve yeast as directed on package.
- Heat milk (do not boil).
- Add sugar, salt and lard.
- Add water to cool milk, then add flour. Dough should be quite soft.
- Knead and let rise 1 hour. Do not punch down.
- Form into buns and let rise another hour.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes or until brown.
