  • 1 can Carnation milk, with water to make a dish
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. lard
  • Salt
  • Pinch cloves
  • Flour to make dough

DIRECTIONS

  1. "Let rise" were the only instructions in John Zaiser's old recipe book.
