INGREDIENTS
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. butter or oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. hot milk or water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 7-12 - 8 c. flour
DIRECTIONS
- Combine first 3 ingredients; let stand.
- Mix 1 cup sugar, flour, oil and salt in hot liquid. Cool.
- When lukewarm, add yeast, eggs and flour. Knead until smooth.
- Let rise to double bulk and knead. Let rise and form into buns or cinnamon buns. Let rise in pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 to 18 minutes.
YIELD: Twenty-four buns.
