INGREDIENTS

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together flour and margarine. Add egg yolk and sour cream; mix well. Shape into 4 balls. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
  2. Mix sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Divide into 4 parts.
  3. Roll each ball of dough in sugar mixture like pie crust. Make sure you use all the sugar mixture.
  4. Cut each circle of dough into 12 pie shaped wedges. Roll from wide to narrow end.
  5. Bake on cookie sheet at 375 degrees F. for 25 minutes.

YIELD: Forty-eight pieces.
