INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 2 c. boiling water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 8 c. flour
DIRECTIONS
- Mix yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and warm water together; let stand.
- In large bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, salt and oil. Add boiling water and mix. Cool.
- Add yeast mixture, eggs and 1 cup flour. Mix well.
- Add flour to make a smooth dough. Knead every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
- After last kneading, form buns in pans. Let rise.
- Bake at 425 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes.
YIELD: Three to four dozen.
