INGREDIENTS

  • 1 turkey
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut up turkey into small pieces; sprinkle with salt and pepper and leave in refrigerator overnight.
  2. In morning, drain well.
  3. Beat eggs, milk and buttermilk; pour over turkey and leave for at least 1 hour.
  4. Dip in breadcrumbs to which you add 2 tablespoons flour, then fry in oil and brown.
  5. Place in large roaster and add a bit of water.
  6. Cook in 350 degree F. oven. Watch it doesn't cook dry.

Delicious hot or cold.
