INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lge. chicken, cut for frying *
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 - 2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine flour, curry powder and salt; coat pieces of cut up chicken. Fry until golden brown on all sides.
  2. Place chicken in roaster; add 2 or 3 (or more) cups water.
  3. Finish cooking in 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour, or until very tender.

YIELD: Serves eight.

* I use a 5 to 6 pound chicken.
