INGREDIENTS
- 1 lge. chicken, cut for frying *
- 1 c. flour
- 1 - 2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- Water
DIRECTIONS
- Combine flour, curry powder and salt; coat pieces of cut up chicken. Fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Place chicken in roaster; add 2 or 3 (or more) cups water.
- Finish cooking in 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour, or until very tender.
YIELD: Serves eight.
* I use a 5 to 6 pound chicken.
