INGREDIENTS
- 3 full racks spareribs
- 2/3 c. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. molasses
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 small onions, finely chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Trim excess fat from ribs; cut into 4 rib servings.
- Place in covered roasting pan with 2 cups water. Bake in 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour. Add more water if necessary.
- Mix together remaining ingredients. Drain ribs and spread in single layer, if possible. Cover ribs with sauce and bake, covered, for another hour.
- Baste every 15 minutes with sauce in pan.
YIELD: Six to eight servings.
