INGREDIENTS

  • 10 - 12 med. sized potatoes
  • 2 med. onions
  • Water
  • 1 tsp. summer savory
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel, wash and cube potatoes.
  2. Add chopped onions and savory. Add just enough water to almost cover potatoes. Salt to taste.
  3. Boil until potatoes are tender. Remove from heat.
  4. Let cool a few minutes, then add cream and buttermilk. Return to medium-low heat.
  5. Slightly thicken with flour and water mixture.
