PUSCH GENEALOGY

Brad Evans passed away on July 19" after a long battle, first with heart disease, and later with cancer.

Brad was the only child of Allen and Agnes Evans of Glenavon Saskatchewan. He lived nearly his whole life in Glenavon, and was an active member of the close knit community.
As a young boy, Brad grew up at “The Shop”, Evans Motors, a full service garage first established by his grandfather, A.W. Arthur “Grampa Art” Evans at the turn of the 20" Century. At one time or another, Evans Motors was the first Ford dealership in Saskatchewan, and later a J.I. Case farm equipment dealer, and an Esso full service gas station. Grampa Art was truly an early entrepreneur, and he passed his passion for things mechanical on, first to his son “Alley”, and then in turn, to Brad.
Brad finished his formal education in Glenavon, then went on to receive mechanical training at Moose Jaw Tech. He worked for a time in Regina, but soon returned to his home in Glenavon.
As is the case in most small towns, volunteerism becomes a part of character building, and Brad was no exception. He volunteered to keep the local cemetery grounds maintained, and to keep the ice plant operating at the curling rink. What began as a sideline for his mechanical work soon became his fulltime business, as the "Brad’s Air Conditioning" van could be seen throughout town, neighboring towns and
farms across the region. Brad also volunteered on several local committees.
Brad leaves behind his best gal of over 20 years Dianne Ealey, Evans cousins Merna, Bruce and Brian, Don and Bob Leech and their sister Patricia, numerous members of the Pusch side of Brad's family, and many many customers and friends.
